Our Purpose

At the Kingston Public Library Foundation, we are committed to providing financial support to enhance the vital services offered at our treasured library.

Free computer services help residents find resources, write resumes, and connect with the wider world. Library programs run the gamut, from encouraging children to fall in love with storytelling, and fun-filled activities to giving adults a chance to meet authors at book talks and one another at a wide range of creative and informational offerings.

Since our founding in 2009, the KPLF has worked in partnership with the Kingston Public Library to support and strengthen library services, programs, and technology. We raise funds to supplement the town library budget and we raise awareness for adequate town funding through advocacy and communications.

We strive to enhance our community through support of our vital public library, and all are welcome to join in the effort.

Why I Support the Kingston Public Library.

One of the things that I love about the KPL is the staff. They are always there with a smile and a recommendation for a great read. Whether the book is for one of my kids or me, they always hit the nail on the head.

We love many things about the library but, the community puzzle table might be my favorite stop before checking out... even if we cant always add a piece! ????

I love that the library makes it so easy to access audiobooks. I'm a busy mom and rarely have time to sit and read anymore, but i can listen to a book while I do dishes, go for a walk or fold laundry. Thank you KPL!
